The FOOTHILLS AREA YMCA is dedicated to providing quality programs that focus on healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development.  Our childcare department hosts a variety of programs including: after school care, summer camps, seasonal mini camps, and much more!  Program descriptions and locations for each child care service we provide is listed below.

 SEASONAL CAMPS (SCHOOL'S OUT DAY CAMP, SPRING BREAK CAMP, ETC.)

Location: Gignilliat Community Center, 621 N. Townville St 

School's Out Day Camp: Monday, October 21st

If school is out, the YMCA is in! The Foothills area YMCA is proud to offer full-day child care services for working parents. During our full-day program, we will offer a variety of fun-filled activities for your child while encouraging your child to develop physically, mentally, and socially. Snack will be provided throughout the day. Each child is required to bring a bag lunch for our group picnic.

 AFTER SCHOOL CARE

The FOOTHILLS AREA YMCA offers an active and fun after school program where students receive a nutritious meal/snack, complete their homework, and participate in active play. Our program thrives to be convenient for parents and FUN for the kids!

Locations:   Seneca Area- Blue Ridge Elementary, Northside Elementary, Keowee Elementary, and Ravenel Elementary.

                   Fair Play/ Westminster Area- Fair Oak Elementary and Orchard Park Elementary (Serves Westminster Elementary).

                    Walhalla Area- James M Brown Elementary and Walhalla Elementary.
                    Tamassee Area- Tamassee - Salem Elementary

                    Dates:  August- June (We run on all school district full days)

  SUMMER CAMP   

The FOOTHILLS AREA YMCA offers a unique summer experience where kids get to be kids EVERYDAY!  Both summer camp locations will include outdoor activities, indoor games, swimming, AWESOME FIELD TRIPS, and so much more! Check us out this summer.
